Autumn has been named a B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree. It’s an affirming recognition from readers who value an engaging plot, characters that feel real, and a story that lingers. I’m grateful they found something in these pages that stayed with them.

Autumn has been shortlisted for the Eric Hoffer Book Award grand prize — my first short list, and a humbling surprise. It’s also being considered in the general fiction category. I’m glad this story has travelled this far, and I appreciate everyone who’s helped it along the way.

Autumn picked up second place in Literary Fiction at this spring’s BookFest Awards, which still feels a little surreal. It means a lot to see this story continue to find its way into the world, and I’m truly fortunate to have people who’ve supported it or shared it.

I read aloud from Autumn today — a personal first as an author. It was part of Welland Public Library’s Local Authors and Poets Day, a celebration of storytelling across a range of genres. I didn’t expect the words to feel new again. But somehow, they did.

I sat in on a book club this week — not as a reader, but as the author. Hearing Autumn discussed through other viewpoints made me see it differently. Thank you to the Ladies of the Literary Book Society for warm welcome and wide-ranging conversation.
